In 1993, Dave and Anita started NW Entrance from scratch — a van, a phone, and a simple promise: treat every customer like the only one. They began servicing automatic doors for grocery stores, and the work grew from there — into door hardware, revolving doors, and commercial entrances of every kind. It has taken the family far beyond Portland, too: to hospitals and retail chains, to job sites in Hawaii, even to the decks of cruise ships. Today their son Mitch carries that same promise forward.
Through all of it, the standard hasn’t moved. The people who built this company are still the people who answer the phone. NW Entrance is now part of the Portland Vortex hub — which means national backing and broader capabilities behind every job — but the name on the truck, and the family behind it, are exactly who you’ll be working with.
